Running

Running is a whole body movement, which enables the body's muscles to contract and relax rhythmically, increasing muscle fiber dimension and protein content. It is an excellent way to maintain health and relieve stress. I enjoy running because it is a fun and easy sport that I can do by myself. When I was young, I was not very healthy, so my father started taking me running, and he said it was good for me. At first, I didn't like running at all, but after a few weeks, I felt great when I was running. Therefore, I started to go running every three days. Now, some of my classmates run with me, and we always talk to each other. Running has become a part of my life.

Today, my father and I got up at 6 o'clock to run. We have been running for 13 days now. I remember the first time we ran, although I ran three laps, I was so out of breath that it felt like I was going to suffocate. At that time, the speed of running was first fast and then slow. But now, I can run three laps at a slightly faster speed without feeling so tired.

Running is not only good for physical health but also helps in weight management and promotes a healthy body composition. It is an effective way to burn calories and shed extra pounds. In addition, running can relieve stress and improve mental health.

I like running in the morning or after class. I don't need to find a partner to run with me. After running, I always feel good and relaxed. It has become a part of my daily routine.
