The First Day of School

How quickly time has flown by! My summer holiday is over, and it's time to return to school. Our school is much more beautiful than before, with the grass in front of the office building so green and the river beside it so clean.

On the first day of high school life, I have some thoughts and feelings. The passage of time can make us understand all of knowledge in books very well. I feel a bit excited to be in the new environment, and I'm looking forward to recognizing new students and teachers. In the next three years, we will learn, work, and progress together to make our dreams come true.

I will study much harder than before and get a good result. I will spend more time studying English because my English is poor, and of course, to study other subjects is also my duty. I believe that time is too important to let me get a good performance.

In the new semester, I will have new friends and share the joy and sadness with them. The process of learning is also a growing process, and I will face many difficulties. I might have difficulties in learning and getting along with classmates, but I will overcome them with perseverance.

I'm here to be empowered, to gain knowledge, and to make a significant contribution to society one day. I wish that someday, I could use the knowledge I learn to make a difference in the world.

So, let's start this new semester with enthusiasm and determination, and make the most of our time at school.
