Thanking My Mother

My mother is the most diligent person in my house. She takes care of me all the time and does all the household chores. When I grew up, I realized that my mother is such a great woman, and the things she does for us surpass everything else. I find her hands, though not as smooth as others, to be the most beautiful hands in my eyes.

My mother is always around me when I need help. Unlike my father, she is not angry when I make mistakes. Instead, she tells me to take care of these mistakes and not make them next time. I am so thankful to my mother for the many sacrifices she has made for me.

She is a kind and gentle woman. She takes good care of her children and keeps them all at school. I have one brother and two sisters, so she has four children in total. She gives us every comfort, and we all love her, and she loves us also. My mother has too much to do in raising us up. As our family is too poor to keep a servant, my mother has always to do a lot of work. She gets up very early and sleeps very late every day. She works hard, yet without complaining. She is also a thrifty and industrious woman. She saves every cent that she can and keeps it for our future.

I am writing to express my deepest thanks to you on this special day, Mother's Day. I love you and thank you so much for everything you have done for me. Although I am away from home today, I want you to know that I am doing very well on my studies, and my schoolmates and teachers are all very nice. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.
